THE CLASSIC FLAVOR OF MEXICO

More than 40 years serving delicious Mexican antojitos

La Casa de Toño began in 1978 as a street stand selling quesadillas and traditional antojitos in the Clavería neighborhood (Azcapotzalco, Mexico City), founded by Marco Antonio Campos at just 18 years old. When street vending was banned in 1985, the business moved into the garage of his family home. High demand led to the transformation of the family house and later neighboring properties into the first restaurant. Today, it is a chain with more than 60 locations.

Famous for its pozole and fast service!

You eat, and you leave happy

What undoubtedly defines this place is the speed of service, the tradition behind its flavors, and the friendliness.

La Casa de Toño is one of those places that feels woven into the daily rhythm of the city. No matter the time or the day, there is always movement, full tables, and a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to sit down and enjoy. Eating here becomes a simple ritual that feels close, familiar, and deeply rooted in Mexican culture. Tradition here does not feel old or distant. It feels alive. It is a gathering place for those who look for reliable flavors and a space that stays true to itself without trying to constantly reinvent what already works. That consistency is part of its charm and its identity.

Despite its growth, La Casa de Toño has kept a very clear essence. Its spaces are practical and straightforward, designed to welcome many people while preserving a traditional feel. The décor is subtle and functional, allowing the experience to focus on sharing food and time at the table. Each location carries the same sense of continuity, as if they were all telling the same story from different corners of the city. It does not try to impress with trends or elaborate details. Instead, it connects with the shared memory of everyday Mexican food that is meant to be enjoyed without complications.
